Eight players still in in the Pokerstars.it Mini IPT being played at the Sanremo's casino. 376 were the players starting, with 56 in the money. The finalists will compete for a first prize worth 33.000 euros.
It will be Daniele Lazzaro, an online qualifier who played an online satellite on Pokerstars.it, the one who will lead an all-italian final table, with Manuel Barlaam in second place, only a few chips away. In third place with almost 1.2M chips there is Federico D'Onofrio who is preceding by about 250k chips Giovanni Borgia in fourth place. These are the main candidates for the first place, but the other four finalists, Fabio Calcagno, Mauro Sgroi, Andrea Vitale and Mirco di Giorgio in strict standings order, though all packed in a 100k chips gap, can still aim to get back on top and win the tournament.
